Socialite Dapne Guiness has been such an inspiration to me on my journey to become a designer. Not everyone has idiosyncrasies but it seems to be the direction of fashion, music, and the arts in the new decade. I have always admired individualism but most people have always labeled it as crazy or eccentric. I get labeled it always but I embrace it, it makes me who I am and thru the years I began to see people try to mimic me. However, You can't duplicate originality. Some try but it doesn't come across as authentic. Furthermore, for those who don't know Dapne Guiness is of Irish, English and French descent and an heiress of the Guiness Family. Daphne is known for causing a tumultuous effect front row fashion shows and on the red carpet. She's graced the covers of Vogue and Style magazines. She was named in the Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1994. She has a fascination with armour, and in 2006 approached her great friend Shaun Leane to create a gold and diamond arm glove. Personally I think she has been an inspiration to Victoria Beckham, Lady Gaga and Beyonce and in my opinion she's the real Queen B. Honestly she reminds me of a sexy Cruella Deville :)
